ABOUT THE LOCATION
It was here where the famous writer Mykhailo Bulgakov used to live – the house with number 13, from 1906 to 1913. Now in the house there is a museum of the Master, and the house got a second name – “House of Turbines”, because exactly in this house Bulgakov “accommodated” the heroes of his book “White Guard”.
The museum carefully preserved the interior of the beginning of the 20th century, furniture, books, including medicine ones, as he used to be a doctor before he became a writer. The museum has more than 3 thousand unique exhibits, most of which are the property of the Bulgakov’s family. Visit the Master to experience the mystique spirit of old Kyiv.
Also, this museum can be reached free with a Kyiv tourist card e.g “KYIV PASS”, which enables with the opportunity to visit tourist locations of Ukrainian capital.
